Want to take time to say a big THANK YOU to Mike and his superb mechanics at Aamco San Bernardino.
I first brought my Ford Taurus 2000 to Mike in 2012 upon the recommendation from the BAR when I was living in Berdoo. After going to several other shops and having to pay tons of money it turned out Mike was the only guy in the I.E. that could fix it!!! Mike is the most knowledgeable and professional manager and auto enthusiast in the area!
On Wednesday Feb 3, 2016 my car broke down again a half block from his shop. I tried to leave a nearby restaurant and had a hard time steering and just went there to ask for some steering fluid. It was a miracle to find Mike back at his old job! In 5 minutes he was able to diagnose the problem and informed me that I needed to replace the rack and pinion. The next morning I sent him an email to request a 40 point inspection because of rough idle. Previously I had asked my regular shop in OC why it was running so rough but was told it was nothing? My email was answered promptly and it was nice that Mike consulted me by phone with the list of needed repairs for authorization first. The Golden Princess needed a lot of TLC: Full Tune-Up new spark plugs, new plug wire set coil on boot, new air filter, new plenum gasket, new fuel filter, new oil filter and oil change. They also, had to replace the valve cover gasket with plug tube seals! No wonder she was dying on me at stops. Prices were fair and consistent with other shops and he gave me a 10% discount with the coupon online$$. What a great place for service!!
The car runs so smooth now, couldn't be happier! Want to thank Aamco, Mike and everyone at his shop for their excellent service, was never pressured to do anything I wasn't ready for. They gave me great feedback and insight on how the car runs overall. Again, thanks Mike (St. Michael the Archangel) for being the keeper of the flame of excellent car service alive in Berdoo.
Rarely do you find that person you trust implicitly with your car. What a great place for service!! Mike is awesome and was always avail to answer my questions and phone calls.
